Last night was very fun. Celebrated Mike's 43rd B'day with a great group of friends at the Star Bar. Left there around 9pm and stopped at friends Dwight and Tammys place on my way home. My plan was to be home by 11pm and I was close.
Today I woke up at 4:30am and started thinking about all the homework I have to do. So for most of the day I have been reading the 3 chapters assigned for the Intro to Program logic class and then answering the questions at the end of each chapter. I had forgotten how much time needs to be spent on homework and getting my brain to absorb it all. I have also realized that it might be a better idea to do my homework as I get it. Instead of trying to do it all in one day.
Tonight I will be working on my Intro to Web Development homework. I have 2 chapters to read and 3 assignments. Great way to spend a Friday night :) Oh yeah!!

- Four and a half years ago, after my children had grown up and were off on their own life adventures. I purchased a bicycle and a bicycle rack for my vehicle with plans to start training for Ragbrai. A few days later I was out with some friends and I informed them of my plans. As luck would have it, one of the guys with us was on a Ragbrai team and asked if I would be interested in going on a few bike rides with his team. And so began my biking adventure. This past summer I completed my 3rd Ragbrai and plan to do many more. There are so many great reason I enjoy Ragbrai. First, it is a great way to see Iowa. I can honestly say I would not get in my car and drive on all those back highways we ride on. Second, its great exercise and Third, its a great way to socialize. I have met people from all over Iowa as well as many other states. Its defintely a great fit for my lifestyle.
