I was awaken by the sounds of the wind blowing this morning . When I let the dog out I was amazed at the huge difference in the temperature compared to yesterday. I debated most of the morning if I should drive to DMACC or not. The weathermen on TV said once it started snowing the strong winds would blow it around making visability really bad. Several of the schools had already closed which included ours. Luckily the afternoon instructor called to advise me he was canceling class and then shortly after that DMACC announced they were closing the campus at 4 p.m. And guess what, other then it being extremely windy and freezing cold, it hardly snowed. They said it was worse up north of highway 30.
Decided to work on my taxes and was able to get those completed this afternoon. Looks like I am getting some money back. Not much, but better then having to pay more then I already did. Took a nap after that.
In the evening I relaxed, watch a little TV and went to bed early. Such an exciting day. NOT
